Pigmentation Reduction

Pigmentation and uneven skin tone is not something you have to live with, they can often be treated to reduce the appearance.

Laser treatments can safely and effectively reduce the appearance of freckles, pigmentation and post-trauma pigmentation such as acne scars and age spots. Who doesn’t want a younger, brighter, blemish-free look?

How does Laser Pigmentation Reduction Treatment work?
Laser skin pigmentation reduction is a non-invasive treatment that uses light energy to gently remove epidermal and dermal pigment without affecting the outer layers of the skin.

Laser is attracted to the melanin in the skin which absorbs the light and is drawn to the surface without harming the surrounding tissue. Once drawn to the surface, the pigmentation will dry and fall off the area treated.

After care
A mild discolouration of pigment after laser pigmentation reduction treatment is expected.

The pigment gradually disappears over the course of three to seven days.

The treated area can also sometimes become more sensitive to sun exposure. Please ensure that direct exposure of treated areas to the sun is avoided. When outdoors protect treated areas by using a complete sun block (factor 50) to protect the skin and maintain results.
